LOS ANGELES, CA - Jul 23, 2025 - On July 29 at 7 PM, Mikey Tableman will take the stage at The Peppermint Club in West Hollywood for Rhythmic Refuge, a live event presented by Critical Breakdown, in partnership with Creative Visions and Soul Sunday. Known for his gripping poetry, raw storytelling, and mental health advocacy, Mikey is using this performance to push forward a mission far greater than entertainment - emotional healing through art.
A survivor of addiction, mental health challenges, and suicidal ideation, Mikey Tableman turned his breakdown into a breakthrough. Today, he's the founder of A Mind's Pursuit, a growing platform focused on emotional literacy, expression, and mental health awareness through creative outlets. From his poetry-driven memoir My Manic Maze to his nonprofit events and children's book series, Mikey is proving that vulnerability is not a weakness - it's a superpower.
