CHICAGO, IL - July 15, 2025 - In a sweeping legal win, Luciano Aguayo and Armando Gonzalez, the original sellers of a business acquired by ReachOut Technology Corp., have been fully vindicated in federal court. On July 9, 2025, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois entered a final default judgment against ReachOut for $1,489,995.88, plus costs, after the company failed to respond to their Amended Counterclaim outlining ReachOut's misconduct and failures (Case No. 1:24-CV-03408).

"This is more than a judgment - it's a definitive ruling that exposes ReachOut's hollow legal tactics and failed leadership," said Aguayo. "The truth was always on our side. Now it's also on the record."

In a turn that signaled the unraveling of ReachOut's legal strategy, ReachOut's own legal counsel abruptly withdrew representation of both ReachOut and its CEO, Rick Jordan, immediately after the Counter-Plaintiffs exposed the full scope of the company's misconduct. Their departure coincided with the unsealing of critical evidence that made continued defense of ReachOut untenable.

Further tipping the scales of justice was the sworn testimony of ReachOut's former controller, who testified under oath in federal court, providing irrefutable documentation of the company's unethical practices, financial misrepresentations, and internal dysfunction. Her account not only contradicted ReachOut's claims, but dismantled their entire narrative with precision and transparency. Her testimony is a matter of public record and can be easily located through a simple web search.

Judge Robert W. Gettleman signed the Default Judgment Order (ECF #71), stating there was "no just reason for delay" and instructing the Clerk of Court to enter final judgment in favor of Aguayo and Gonzalez. The court's ruling represents a complete and unchallenged victory for the sellers and a damning final chapter for ReachOut's attempt to mislead the legal system.

"ReachOut tried to silence the truth. Instead, their own former employee exposed it - with receipts, under oath," said Aguayo.
