XWiki and OpenProject Partner to Deliver a European Open-Source Alternative to Confluence and Jira

XWiki SAS and OpenProject GmbH have announced a strategic partnership to offer organizations a comprehensive, open-source alternative to proprietary collaboration tools such as Atlassian's Confluence and Jira.

This partnership brings together two mature, independently developed open-source platforms: XWiki, a customizable enterprise wiki and knowledge management solution, and OpenProject, a robust project management and issue tracking tool. The collaboration aims to provide a fully integrated, modular stack that helps organizations transition away from proprietary platforms while maintaining usability, functionality, and data control.
