Energy efficiency, sustainability and the refurbishment backlog now play a greater role in valuations than ever before.

"Today, the energy efficiency of a property is a massive value factor. Property valuations that ignore this are simply no longer up to date," says Manfred Haus.

Property valuations in 2025 are more than just a set of figures - they are crucial management tools for investments, estate planning, lending and legal disputes. Anyone who owns or wants to acquire property today is dependent on qualified, comprehensible appraisals.
