Making digital insolvency reality: McJu§tice already offers today what the legislator is planning
With the key issues paper "Insolvency Proceedings 4.0", politicians have presented a clear roadmap for the digitalization of insolvency proceedings. While many systems are still in the concept phase, McJu§tice is already fully operational - and offers insolvency administrators and creditors a smart, digital solution for the entire insolvency process.McJu§tice: digitally ahead - today what will become law tomorrow
The key issues paper names central digital building blocks that are to be implemented in the near future: electronic claim registration, service by email, creditor information via platforms, structured data imports and less paper. McJu§tice has already implemented all of this - legally compliant, intuitive and in close consultation with practitioners.
What McJu§tice already does today - an overview:
- ✅ Digital claims registration incl. uploads, multilingual interface (end of 2025) and intelligent assistant for creditors
- ✅ Automatic check for completeness and plausibility - reduces queries and saves time
- ✅ Access logs for creditor contacts - data protection-compliant and audit-proof
- ✅ Import of Excel, CSV and XML files - incl. automatic creation of creditor profiles from tables
- ✅ Flat-rate tariffs for law firms - unlimited number of insolvency administrators, proceedings and employees
- ✅ Creditor-friendly user interface with legally verified forms and accompanying texts
- ✅ Seamless communication between creditor, court and administrator - via email and secure data transfer
A head start over GIS & Co.
While other solutions such as GIS still work in rigidly structured form templates and only allow partial digital access, McJu§tice offers complete flexibility - from invitation to feedback, digitally accompanied, fully documented and centrally controllable.
Efficiency meets user-friendliness
"Our aim is to make insolvency proceedings fairer, more transparent and more economically efficient - for everyone involved. McJu§tice brings digital reality to an analog system and relieves the burden on law firms and creditors alike," explains Michael Leipold, in-house counsel at McJu§tice.
Conclusion:
What the "Insolvency Proceedings 4.0" working group sees as the next stage, McJu§tice has already implemented technically and functionally. For law firms that move with the times - and creditors who don't want to lose their rights.

We are convinced that many legal processes can now be simplified in the digital age and handled without a lawyer. This eliminates the often difficult inhibition threshold of going to a lawyer.
In this way, access to justice becomes cheaper, easier and faster - and possible for everyone. Our team consists of experienced lawyers who can look back on many years of professional experience and who have designed our system and continue to develop it on a daily basis.
In particular, the experience gained from many years of client relationships and their wishes regarding legal issues are taken into account. The core issues have always been the prospects of success, the costs and the time frame.
