FreeCast Adds Six New Spanish-Language Streaming Channels

More free FAST channels come to FreeCast's Mis Canales section, expanding the company's offering for Hispanic viewers.
FreeCast is announcing the addition of six new FAST channels. The new channels join a substantial collection of linear and on-demand Spanish-language content as part of the company's Mis Canales section. For Spanish-speaking customers throughout the US, as well as audiences in Latin America, FreeCast has gathered a broad offering of content produced or dubbed in Spanish specifically appealing to this valuable customer group.

The channels coming to FreeCast include UN TV, Zona Investigacion (ZI), Cine y Series (CyS), RCN Mas, RCN Noticias, and VR+. UN TV is a channel for women, focusing on fashion, beauty, lifestyle, royalty and celebrities. Zona Investigacion (ZI) is an investigative channel with a journalistic approach, exploring prisons, police work, and environmental issues. Cine y Series (CyS) features renowned movies and TV series across a wide variety of genres from leading content producer Atresmedia. RCN Mas focuses on telenovelas, combining stories of romance, intrigue, and adventure, including leading proven novelas like "La Hija del Mariachi" . RCN Noticias is a world news channel based in Colombia with 24/7 Spanish language news for the Latino community. VR+ is a Mexican music channel focused on the best and latest in Latin music videos.

Tracy West, FreeCast's Executive Vice President of Digital Content, discussed the value of the new channels to the company's offering. "The power and flexibility of our platform allow us to really cater to different audiences in a unique way. For Spanish-speaking households, we can put content in their language front and center, while still allowing them to access the best and most popular content from all the major streaming services too."

Julian Giraldo, EVP RCN International, said "We are thrilled with the continued expansion of RCN content with the launch of RCN Mas and RCN Noticias on FreeCast. These channels bring the best of RCN content and news to our Colombian viewers throughout the US and the world."

Mar Martinez-Raposo, Director of Atresmedia International, also commented "FreeCast gives us a great opportunity for our channels to reach the audience we're looking for: an audience interested in quality content in Spanish, as well as a young audience looking for free entertainment."
