New Internet presence for the Körber PaperLink companies

Press release from: Körber PaperLink

Hamburg, March 27, 2008 – The companies of the Körber PaperLink Group (Paper Division of the Körber AG machine engineering group) – E.C.H. Will GmbH, Kugler-Womako GmbH, Pemco Inc., Fabio Perini S.p.A., KPL Packaging S.p.A., Körber Engineering Shanghai Co., Ltd. and Winkler+Dünnebier AG – have a new Internet presence. Their products and services, facts and figures, market information, news and trends are all now available even more easily via www.kpl.net. The domain of the holding company KPL leads directly to a separate site for each of the group's companies.

The new websites underline the Körber PaperLink companies’ strong market position, highlighting the quality of their products and services.

When preparing the concept for these sites, user-friendliness was a top priority. This objective was reached by improving the logical structure, making navigation intuitive and improving the presentation. The freshened graphic design employs categorized color palettes: yellow/orange/red for paper converting businesses, blue shades for tissue converting. On one hand, the visual treatment indicates that the companies are all part of the Körber PaperLink Group. On the other hand, it demarcates each of the individual companies.

“We aimed primarily at presenting the Körber PaperLink companies in a concise and understandable way,” explains Mirjam Melanie Müller of the Körber AG’s Corporate Communications Department. “With just a few clicks, interested users should find the content they are looking for and be able to get in contact with the right person easily.”

Navigation is aided by new tools like the site’s Product Finder and “How can we help you?” guides. Through a short series of questions and answers, each tool quickly presents the most appropriate link.

The new websites also focus on the group’s system solutions. For each machine or machine category in a company’s portfolio, its product page shows which machines it can be easily combined with, among other companies of the group.

The companies already have ideas for the future development of their websites: “We plan to use more case studies, to present our machines and services in concrete projects, demonstrating their added value for our customers,” Mirjam Melanie Müller adds.
