In celebration of the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025, Sahaja Yoga practitioners from the NCR region conducted a large-scale initiative to spread awareness about Kundalini Awakening and Self Realization-the core tenets of Sahaja Yoga, as taught by Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.

A dedicated team of Sahaja Yoga volunteers organized and facilitated sessions at 35 residential societies, 15 community parks, and 21 corporate offices across Noida, Greater Noida, and Gurugram, reaching hundreds of participants from diverse backgrounds.

Each session introduced participants to the powerful experience of Kundalini awakening-a spontaneous, effortless meditation process that leads to mental silence, emotional balance, and holistic well-being. Many attendees reported immediate experiences of inner peace, cool breeze sensations, and stress relief.

"We are humbled by the overwhelming response from the community," said a senior coordinator from the Sahaja Yoga NCR team. "This initiative was not just about Yoga postures, but about awakening the inner energy and realizing our true self."

Techniques for achieving and maintaining a state of thoughtless awareness

Tips for establishing a daily Sahaja meditation practice at home

The events witnessed active engagement from RWAs, local wellness clubs, and corporate HR teams who appreciated the spiritual depth and scientific simplicity of the sessions.

With the theme of this year's IDY being "Yoga for Self and Society", Sahaja Yoga's outreach perfectly aligned with the spirit of taking inner transformation to every doorstep.

For those who missed the sessions, daily online and in-person follow-up meditation classes are being offered free of charge across the NCR.
