Discover Labthink Instruments for improving protective coatings. Labthink's Water Vapor Permeability Tester and Oxygen Transfer Rate Testers were recently referenced in an article in the Journal of Materials Research and Technology where a study to improve superhydrophobic gradient coatings in different environments (1).

In a recent study in Polymers in the Biobased and Biodegradable Polymers Section, Labthink Oxygen Transfer Rate Test Instruments and a W3/031 Water Vapor Permeability Instruments were used to test edible coatings to preserve fruit (2). In LWT - Food Science and Technology, March 2025, Labthink's thickness tester (CHY-C2, Labthink, Jinan, China), water vapor transmission rate tester (W3-031, Labthink, Jinan, China) and gas permeability tester (VAC-V2, Labthink, were used in a study to develop packaging film that would prolong the freshness of produce (3). In Foods 2025 Labthink's XLW(EC) intelligent electronic tensile tester and i-OXTRA 7700 gas penetration tester were used to test Melatonin/P34HB Films for Active Packaging (4).
