The Urban Tailor launch kicks off a new era of custom tailored casual clothing

Bangkok, Thailand March 25, 2008 -- The newly formed SNJ Brand Collective Co., Ltd. announced the launch of Urban Tailor (urbantailor.com) today. Urban Tailor is the first brand that enables people to order custom tailored casual clothing online and select a custom size and cut, several details such as type of pockets and the fabrics that are used to create each single garment.

"Salinya my partner in this venture sent me a tailor made hoodie as a gift one day. It was so nice and well crafted that we decided to create a business around this idea and enable other people to wear unique, tailor made garments for every day life", said Jay Uhdinger, co-founder of Urban Tailor. "Salinya's company and her team of dedicated tailors have been crafting high quality garments in low quantities for major companies in the last four years, so with Urban Tailor we can rely on the excellent craftsmanship and experience while our customers basically design their garments themselves."

The starting line up consists of three models in two "weight classes" that can be customized on UrbanTailor.com. Each model can be ordered in a light version that uses a thin cotton layer inside or a heavy version with thick fleece inside. The available models right now are a classic hoodie, a bandana jacket and an Asian track jacket. The model line up will be extended on a regular basis and cover more timeless pieces of clothing in the future.

Urban Tailor offers a variety of already crafted garments on their website and besides that people can place custom orders. Placing a custom order is a straight forward process that contains of the following steps: Model selection, fabric selection, selection of the details and the size. The size can be either a standard size or a custom size. In the latter case the garment will be constructed according to the measurements specified by the customer. A custom ordered garment is crafted, shipped and delivered within four weeks worldwide.
