Press release from: Dedalus Consulting

New York City, NY, July 1, 2016 – Dedalus Consulting (www.dedalusconsulting.com) is proud to announce the addition of Emily Cura Saunders, Ph.D., as the new Senior Analyst in our Energy Sector.
“Dedalus Consulting is thrilled to add such an amazing, experienced talent to our core team, especially in an ever-growing market like Alternative Energy. Emily’s background and skills are sure to add a measurable quality to both our published energy research and consulting projects,” praised company President Frank Kuzler.

Emily comes to Dedalus Consulting after completing her Ph.D. in Political Science at Claremont Graduate University’s School of Social Science, Policy, and Evaluation where she studied Public Policy and Comparative Politics. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from The College of the Holy Cross and dual Masters degrees from both Harvard University and Claremont Graduate University.

Her coursework included quantitative methods, cost-benefit analysis, policy evaluation, and strategic modeling. While completing her graduate work, Emily worked for the Department of Energy at both Lawrence Livermore and Los Alamos National Laboratories. At Lawrence Livermore Emily was on the Next Generation Safeguards Team, focusing on vulnerabilities in the nuclear fuel cycle as well as the technical and policy issues surrounding the international safeguards regime. At Los Alamos, she was a pre-doctoral researcher.

Emily’s doctoral dissertation entitled, Nuclear Terrorist Acquisition Pathways: Implications for U.S. Counterterrorism Policy, enhanced her understanding of the nuclear fuel cycle as well as economic counterterrorism policy and the role of export controls, particularly in advanced technology sectors.
