4th volume of the series "Konzilstagebuch" - Sebastian Tromp by Verlag T. Bautz
The publishing house T. Bautz is pleased to announce the publication of the 4th volume of the series "Konzilstagebuch". The publisher is Dr. Alexandra von Teuffenbach.This work is published in five volumes, each volume consisting of two parts: The first part contains the diary, while the second part publishes the accompanying files from the Vatican Secret Archives, which document the period covered by the diary and the work of the Commission.
The fourth volume is the penultimate part of a five-part series and offers a unique insight into the work of the Theological Commission during the Second Vatican Council. In 17 handwritten diaries, Sebastian Tromp, Secretary of the Commission, describes the history of the Commission from the preparatory phase to the publication of the important constitutions Lumen Gentium, Dei Verbum and Gaudium et Spes.
The editor, Dr. Alexandra von Teuffenbach, thus continues her important work and once again offers experts, academics and interested parties a valuable source for researching the history of the Council.
