Mascus Signs a License Agreement for the Benelux Region

Mascus, the electronic marketplace for used equipment and transport vehicles, signs a license agreement with the Dutch company Via Via BV to be represented in Belgium, Netherland and Luxemburg

London, UK, March 20th, 2008 - Mascus the Pan-European electronic marketplace for heavy used machinery and transportation vehicles continues to increase the number of its local offices across Europe. The last signed license agreement with the Dutch company Via Via BV, assigns opening of another Mascus office in Europe. "It is important for us to have own offices through out Europe. This allows us to deliver extra custom made services to our clients and be more responsive to their needs", says Mascus Director Fredrik Larsson.

More Mascus Offices in Europe
Mascus has been constantly expanding. Recently the site reached the impressive number of 1,000 customers placing over 30,000 pieces of used transport vehicles, construction, agriculture, forest and groundscare machines, and forklifts on the website. So far the company has signed nine co-operation agreements with different partners in 16 European countries, strengthening its positions in Scandinavia, Central, South Eastern Europe, UK, Baltic and CIS countries.

More benefits for Benelux customers
"Belgium, Dutch and Luxembourgian dealers will definitely benefit from Mascus presence in Europe. Along with having own language version of the website; www.mascus.be, www.mascus.nl and www.mascus.lu, dealers from the region will be able to strengthen their export channels and reach a variety of buyers from across Europe, where Mascus is well-known and establish as one of the biggest online marketplaces for heavy equipment and transport vehicles", says Frank Kuvel, Country Manager for Benelux

The new licence partner, the Dutch company Via Via BV will be responsible for local marketing and sales in the Benelux region. "From now on we will promote Mascus on local newspapers, magazines, fairs as well as the local Google sites in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg. In addition, our customers will gain extra visibility on our general classified portal, www.viavia.nl, which overall will also provide dealers with more opportunities to sell to local transportation, construction, logistic and forestry companies and agricultural farmers" says Tim Scholte, the owner of Via Via Bv.

More opportunity for buyers of used equipment
"By strengthening our positions and developing new local marketing channels in the region more Belgium, Dutch and Luxembourgian dealers will use Mascus services, which will additionally increase the amount of used machines and transport vehicles available for sale on Mascus.
