Paloceras expands its cult-favourite Pebble Collection across Europe and the United States

The Pebble Collection has quietly established itself as a cult hit among stylists, artists and design-led consumers. Sculptural yet wearable, bold yet refined, each frame invites a new way of seeing. The collection reflects the house's signature philosophy: form becomes feeling, and craftsmanship carries meaning.
Paloceras was created by Alexis Perron-Corriveau and Mika Matikainen, two internationally awarded designers known for their work in design, craftsmanship and creative direction. Together, they envisioned a new kind of eyewear, one that speaks the language of sculpture, not trends. Their shared background shapes every aspect of Paloceras, combining discipline with imagination and grounding rebellion in tradition.
This release features Pebble Velvet Rouge VX (pictured), a deep crimson aviator with velvet-like depth, and Pebble Havana Gold DX, a rich tortoiseshell silhouette with golden accents embedded beneath the surface. Both models are carved from premium Mazzucchelli acetate and hand-finished in small batches. Colourways are designed to respond to light, revealing layers that shift with movement and mood.
At the heart of the construction lies the proprietary DualLayer structure. This in-house acetate layering technique creates contrast between internal and external tones, giving each frame an uncommon sense of depth. No other brand has achieved this effect using acetate alone.
Frames are built with a gold-plated wirecore and a five-joint hinge system to ensure lasting comfort and structural integrity. CR39 lenses offer glass-like clarity, scratch resistance and full UVA and UVB protection.
"The lenses were without a doubt the clearest I have ever experienced," wrote Bustle.
"On day one of wearing them, three strangers stopped me to ask where they were from," said Michelle, an early client.
Paloceras creations have been seen on Róisín Murphy, NENNY and Djibril Cissé, and styled for fashion week names such as Fumina Tsuji and Victoria Montanari. From green rooms to fashion week backstages, the brand is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about names in contemporary eyewear.
