Slovak PRO Announces its 3rd Annual Prestigious Summit in New York for Slovak Professionals from North America

NEW YORK, NY - May 1, 2025 - Slovak PRO, a community non-profit organization operating since 2001 that connects, supports, and empowers the Slovak professional community in North America, proudly announces its third annual Slovak PRO Summit 2025.
This exclusive, full-day networking summit will bring together the most successful Slovak professionals, entrepreneurs, scientists, creatives, and community leaders in North America. The event will once again take place in New York City.

The Slovak PRO Summit began as an idea in 2022 with the goal of bringing together top Slovak professionals in the US for one day to connect, collaborate, and explore opportunities for mutual support, and assisting Slovakia. This idea became a reality in 2023 and 2024.

The first summit in 2023 in New York was held under the auspices of President Zuzana Čaputová and welcomed 80 leaders. It featured speakers such as Ivan Mikloš (former Deputy Prime Minister), Peter Vereš (astrophysicist from Harvard), and Martin Viecha (former Vice President at Tesla). This event laid the foundation for Slovak PRO's growth across the USA, and today the organization has an active presence in 8 major North American cities, including New York, San Francisco, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, San Diego, and Toronto.

In 2024, the summit was held at the Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in New York and was attended by 100 top Slovak professionals. The program included a conversation with President Peter Pellegrini, a keynote speech by New York Rangers hockey legend Marián Gáborík, an interview with economist Ľuboš Pástor (University of Chicago), panel discussions and TED-style presentations from scientists, community organizers, and successful Slovak entrepreneurs in the USA.

Slovak PRO Summit 2025:
Expanded Scope and Focus on Growth and Contribution
In 2025, Slovak PRO is expanding the summit to 250 carefully selected guests from North America and Slovakia, more than doubling the number of participants compared to previous years. The summit will take place in an iconic venue in the heart of Manhattan overlooking Madison Square Park (the specific location will be announced soon).
The program will include keynote speeches, TED-style presentations, expert panels, and space for meaningful conversations and new initiatives, similar to 2023 and 2024 but on a larger scale. The program is currently being developed, and the 2025 summit is once again expected to feature presidential-level participation.
The main focus of this year's summit will be on:
Mutual support for growth across various sectors and regions
Strengthening Slovak-American professional and civic networks
Contributing to the economic, democratic, and cultural development of Slovakia
Inspiring the next generation of Slovaks to lead with integrity and purpose
The Summit is a space for Slovaks who are leaders in their fields - whether in business, science, academia, policy, media, or the arts - to meet, exchange ideas, and build lasting connections.

Program and Participation
Detailed program information will be shared in the coming weeks. Food and beverages will be provided for all attendees throughout the day, including refreshments, lunch, and the evening reception.
The Slovak PRO Summit is an invitation-only event. All registrations will be reviewed and approved by the organizing team. A participation fee is required to help cover a portion of the event costs. The remaining costs will be covered by sponsors.
