Bergen County, NJ - May 2025 - At the height of burnout-juggling a day job, motherhood, and the pressure to keep up-artist Ovi Paulter did something radical. She stopped. She let the doubt speak. And in the quiet that followed, she heard her real purpose.

The Science Behind the Stillness

Ovi's mission is now supported by compelling research. A 2016 study conducted by Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions found that 75% of participants experienced a significant drop in cortisol levels-the primary stress hormone-after just 45 minutes of art-making, regardless of their prior experience.

"It was surprising and it also wasn't," said Girija Kaimal, EdD, assistant professor and lead author of the study. "It's something we intuitively know. We're just now starting to measure it."

This study validates the restorative foundation of Floral Sessions with Ovi-offering women not just beauty, but measurable relief from the physiological effects of chronic stress.
