April 30, 2025 - C Mac Productions will ignite the summer comedy season on Thursday, June 13, 2025, when the Bakersfield Comedy Get Down transforms the Speakeasy Bar & Grill inside the 1933 Event Center into the city's most electric laugh factory. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., the curtain rises at 8:00, and from the first punchline forward the evening promises a nonstop surge of energy, music, and unfiltered fun.
Headlining the showcase is Jay Lamont, the genrebending Human iPod whose legendary vocal impressions and beatdriven storytelling have packed houses nationwide. He is joined by crowdfueled firebrand Jorge "DJ Cooch" Marroquin, a twentyyear veteran whose resume spans national comedy tours, television appearances, and turntable mastery for NBC/Universal.
