Founded in 2018 by registered nurse Mona Clayton, The Nurses Pub is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the global nursing shortage by providing education, mentorship, and resources to aspiring healthcare professionals. With a mission to "Grow, Share, Inspire," the organization offers programs that guide students from diverse backgrounds into nursing and other medical fields.​

Through initiatives like the Nurses Pub Club After-School Program in partnership with Los Angeles Unified School District, The Nurses Pub delivers career literacy, mentorship, and professional development to high school students. The organization also hosts events such as the annual scholarship gala, aiming to recruit 100,000 future nurses and provide financial support to students pursuing nursing careers .​
