FAKRO Joins the Z-Wave Alliance as its Newest Principal Member
Strengthens Z-Wave’s Lead In the European Home Controls MarketFremont, 14. March 2008 - The Z-Wave Alliance, an open consortium of leading global companies dedicated to establishing Z-Wave as the standard in wireless home control, today announced the addition of FAKRO, one of the leading roof window manufactures in the world, as its newest principal member. FAKRO joins an impressive list of industry leaders including; Cooper Wiring Devices, Danfoss, Intel, Intermatic, Leviton, Logitech, Universal Electronics, Wayne-Dalton and Zensys.

FAKRO is the second European company to join the Z-Wave Alliance as a principal member and member of the Board of Directors. FAKRO has a strong customer base in the Ukraine and Russia and is growing globally. FAKRO’s support provides Z-Wave with an advantage in the rapidly growing European market. Since the company’s launch in 1991, FAKRO has emerged as the leader in manufacturing and sales of roof windows throughout the European market.
