Local Edition Creative to Partner with the Downtown San Rafael Arts District

San Rafael, CA (April 21, 2025) Local Edition Creative is honored to have been selected to lead the development and installation of new public art projects for the City of San Rafael in Marin County, CA. After a rigorous RFP process, the Downtown San Rafael Arts District (DSRAD) committee chose Local Edition Creative based on the depth of experience and the quality of work the organization has helped to create throughout cities in and around the Bay Area and Central Valley.

The DSRAD project aims to enhance the vitality of the downtown San Rafael district with several new art installations on public property, including murals and sculptures. The stated goal is to reflect the diversity of the local community and the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. DSRAD endeavors to provide access to world-class arts and cultural experiences for everyone in San Rafael, and this new partnership with Local Edition Creative marks an exciting new chapter for the organization.

Local Edition Creative is an art-centric agency with a focus on project development, art curation, design, production, and the creation of unique and engaging experiences. With over 10 years of experience working with businesses, municipalities and counties, hospitality groups, developers and tourism organizations, the agency has produced over 100 murals and placed dozens of permanent and temporary art installations in the public space as well as have produced a number of arts and culture events.
