A new layer of security has been added for servers and endpoint backups. All restore actions now require end-user approval through a secure, token-based email authentication system, to make sure that only authorized users can initiate the data restoration process.

Hyper-V Fail-back Options:

The new version introduces two flexible Hyper-V fail-back options:

Fail back to a new virtual machine
Fail back to the original virtual machine with data synchronization

Users can finalize the fail-back process when restore is completed or undo the fail-back process if any changes are needed, This streamlines disaster recovery process and minimizes downtime.

Automatic Network Mapping & IP Remapping:

BDRSuite now automates network and IP configuration during Hyper-V fail-back operations. This simplifies the backup process by eliminating manual configuration and enabling faster recovery.

Linux Remote Proxy Support:

Expanding its platform support, BDRSuite now allows remote proxy installations on Linux systems as it was previously limited to Windows. It enables efficient and consistent backup management across different Operating Systems.

Additional Enhancements

System Partition Security: Volume ID is now used instead of drive letters for system reserved partitions.

File Backup Improvements: Optimized file tracking and reduced processing load for empty directories.

Multi-Tenant Remote Proxy UI: Enhanced user interface supporting both remote proxies and server-added hosts in multi-tenant environments.

Free Edition Integrity Check: Backup integrity verification is now available in the Free Edition.
