Intellivix Targets Global AI Surveillance Market with 'False Alarm Elimination' Gen AMS
"World's First VLM Integration" Draws Praise at ISC 2025, One of the World's Top 3 Security ExhibitionsImage: https://www.globalnewslines.com/uploads/2025/04/6c1f146cb0cd10616c2d0a5bd2063cdb.jpg
LAS VEGAS - April 4, 2025 - Intellivix, a leading company specializing in generative vision AI (Co-CEOs Eun Soo Choi and Jung Hoon Jang), announced that its unveiling of the world's first VLM-based generative AI surveillance system, Gen AMS, received enthusiastic interest at ISC West 2025, one of the world's top three security exhibitions, held in Las Vegas, U.S.
Following the North American debut of Gen AMS, Intellivix plans to actively expand into Southeast Asian markets-including the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia-as well as into Europe, the United Kingdom.
ISC West, the largest physical security exhibition in North America, serves as a major global stage where cutting-edge technologies in CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and AI-driven security solutions converge.
At this year's exhibition, Intellivix unveiled Gen AMS, a next-generation video surveillance system independently developed by the company. Leveraging real-time CCTV footage, Gen AMS not only detects and alerts incidents as they occur, but also uses AI to interpret the situation and explain its context and meaning in natural language-eliminating false alarms, a major pain point in existing systems.
In particular, the version showcased at ISC West features an integrated Vision-Language Model (VLM) capable of automatically generating surveillance reports, marking the world's first commercialized video security platform of its kind. The system drew strong interest and high praise from global partners and attendees.
Gen AMS had already garnered attention at CES 2025 in January and again at SECON 2025, held March 19-21 at KINTEX in Ilsan, South Korea.
Traditional video surveillance systems rely on human operators to monitor multiple screens, which often leads to fatigue and errors. While automation has improved efficiency, false alarms have remained a persistent challenge. Intellivix has addressed this issue by becoming the first in the world to develop a VLM-based generative AI surveillance system that effectively eliminates false positives.
During live demonstrations, visitors applauded when the AI correctly identified a flame image on a smartphone screen as a non-fire situation. They were equally impressed when the AI detected a person raising their hands above their head-a gesture used to simulate an emergency rescue request-and accurately recognized it as a "rescue request."
Attendees were amazed by the AI's ability to understand the meaning of video footage in real time and explain it with precision, describing it as a groundbreaking innovation that sets a new standard for AI-powered video surveillance.
Through this exhibition, Intellivix has confirmed Gen AMS's global market potential across a wide range of sectors, including smart cities, industrial safety, public infrastructure, and defense. The company plans to actively expand technical collaborations and partnerships, with a strong focus on the North American market.
"Gen AMS is an innovative system that goes beyond simply detecting events - it analyzes and explains their meaning, significantly enhancing on-site response capabilities," said Eun Soo Choi, CEO of Intellivix. "We are deeply honored to have our technology officially recognized in the global market through ISC West."
