Augusta, GA [April 4, 2025] - Get ready for a unique fusion of sports as the Par3 Tour brings a thrilling 128-Player March Madness Bracket-Style Golf Elimination Challenge to The Practice Club at Jones Creek on April 9th featuring Canadian golfer and former Miss Canada (Sara Michelle Winters), 15 year old junior phenom Xeve Perez, and Augusta's own 2024 Drive Chip and Putt Champion Kipp Madison. This exciting event promises a day of competition, camaraderie, and cash prizes, all wrapped in a vibrant, party-like atmosphere. Admission is free for all spectators.
Forget filling out brackets on paper; this year, the March Madness drama unfolds on the green. 128 players will battle it out in a single-elimination bracket, with each round consisting of a 1v1 closest-to-the-pin showdown. Players will test their precision and nerve as they aim for the pin from 151 yards. The player whose shot lands closest advances to the next round, while their opponent is eliminated.
"During the best week of golf, we wanted to create a fun and engaging event that combines the excitement of March Madness with the thrill of golf," says Par3 Tour Founder Marcus Maddox.
"Having the first local Augusta Drive, Chip and Putt Champion being featured is neat."
Adding to the excitement, Country Club Adjacent's Blake Webber and Griff Pippin (Over 1.5 Million followers on Instagram) will be on-site commentating, ensuring a lively and engaging experience for both participants and spectators. Food trucks and music will add to the festivities.
