Cleophus "Cleo" P. Franklin Jr. is a decorated, retired international business executive with more than 35 years of leadership in agriculture, heavy machinery, business development, academia, and innovative strategies. Franklin has served as a senior leader at John Deere, Case-New Holland (CNH), and Mahindra, leading the record-breaking expansion, market share, and innovation.
Apart from his entrepreneurship and business achievements, Franklin is a strong advocate for youth leadership, having established Franklin Strategic Solutions and the Franklin Leadership Foundation at Morningside University. He is also a board adviser, investor, and adjunct professor, applying his knowledge to different sectors.
Franklin, an avid writer, has written several books on leadership, career development, and personal transformation, a children's book, and an earlier poetry collection. His writing extends his dedication to using the art of storytelling as a vehicle for inspiration and change. Franklin earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina and his bachelor's degree from Morningside University. He lives in Houston, Texas, with his wife, Lois.
