Philadelphia area 10-Year-Old Author and Advocate John Xavier to Host Kidpreneur Conference in Atlanta, GA
(Philadelphia, PA) - John Xavier, a remarkable 10-year-old award-winning author, actor, literacy advocate, and kidpreneur, is set to host a special event, the Kidpreneur Conference in Clarkston, Georgia, on April 11-12, 2025, at the Clarkston Community Center. Recognized for his significant contributions to literacy and the arts, John Xavier will share his journey and inspire the next generation of young readers and writers.As a recipient of the prestigious 2023 Nina Simone Artistic Excellence in Writing Award through the YGB Entrepreneurial Awards Program and the State of New York, John has captured the hearts of readers with his captivating children's books, including John's Journey to Outer Space and John's Virtual School Journey.
In addition to his writing accolades, John Xavier has made a notable impact on youth literacy through partnerships with organizations like The Philadelphia Free Library and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA). Together, they launched a city-wide literacy campaign promoting fluent reading among children by the 4th grade. His collaborations with the Philadelphia School District, Girls Inc., and ParentChild+ have also facilitated author visits and writing clinics, encouraging creativity and literacy in young minds.
John's creative prowess extends to filmmaking, having written the short film Sci-Kids, inspired by his book series. The film has garnered acclaim, winning Best Short in the Children & Family category at IndieFEST and being accepted into multiple film festivals. He is also the co-host of the Kidz Got the Biz Podcast, where he highlights young entrepreneurs and their inspiring stories. This summer, the podcast will be exclusively streamed on the Kidogo Network. On June 7, 2025, John will be the featured author at the Philly Indie Book and Jazz Festival held at Mile Mack Recreation Center in West Philadelphia.
