MYOOZ - THE WORLD’S FIRST OFFLINE MUSIC DISCOVERY AND TEXTING

London & San Francisco, 8th December 2016

Myooz-ik Limited, a high-tech startup in London (United Kingdom) has announced the launch of Myooz, the world’s first mobile app which allows users to discover music and chat with people nearby, even when there is no data connectivity.

Myooz is totally secure and anonymous, enabling people to listen in real-time to songs that other people nearby are listening to on their iPhones.

Incredibly, Myooz works even when there is no internet connection, meaning that people can discover new music and text chat with each other even in data challenged locations such as underground subway trains, music festivals, stadium events or at the beach.

Wireless headphone functionality is another feature offered on the app, a pioneering know how which Myooz-ik refers to as ‘Sound Peering’, whereby two people can listen to the same song ‘wirelessly’, without the need to physically share headphones, streaming between two iPhones.

Conceived as a new form of musical distribution, Myooz lets people save newly discovered songs in a personal play list within the app, to then be purchased when back online via Apple’s iTunes.

Myooz-ik has designed the app to operate within a circa 100 meter radius and plans to release an Android version next.
