Jazmin Whitley, designer of the Li Cari fashion house takes
her stance once again during Los Angeles fashion week. Making fashion history as the youngest fashion designer to show, for the third consecutive season. Proving she’s ready to get into the ring with the heavy weights. At the age of 19 she brings fall 2008 to a private venue in West Hollywood on March 13, 2008. This by invitation only event will be hosted by Chudney Ross. Beginning at 7 pm with red carpet arrivals and a catwalk planned for 9pm. DJ Pinxx will be spinning the turn tables, while Celebrities and socialites enjoy the newest in fashion. Also, expected to be in attendance are editors, journalists and buyers.

Jazmin Whitley, has taken the title of youngest designer not only in Los Angeles but in New York and Brazil and with plans to show in Tokyo, Milan and Paris Ms. Whitley is well on her way to capturing the hearts of fashion lovers around the world. Jazmin Whitley hand picked her venue Poliform USA in West Hollywood for a few reasons Whitley states “ Every product in the showroom is made by adults, they are made in Italy were child labor laws are enforced”.
Whitley strongly believes that all Americans can make an enormous difference in the world of child labor. She states “Simply do not buy it, if the label does not read Made in USA, Italy or a country that enforces the laws” she also adds, “Child labor is a pervasive problem throughout the world, especially in developing countries. Africa and Asia together account for over 90 percent of total child employment. Many of these children endure lives of pure deprivation. Every American should consider this when they make a purchase”. Jazmin also loved the look of Poliform’s showroom she adds “ The pieces are amazing and inspiring my collection and the designs of Poliform go hand in hand”.
