Continental's new TPU bicycle inner tube contains seven layers of micron-thick TPU to maximize air tightness and durability. This TPU bicycle inner tube is uncolored to further ensure the highest material quality and prevent air entrapment problems caused by dye-related surface defects. Every ContiTPU tube is quality checked after production.
The base shape of the valve is slightly conical to improve the fit with the rim and reduce unwanted movement, and the valve has internal threads to facilitate the use of valve extensions or replacement of the valve core.
Every ContiTPU bicycle inner tube, including the raw materials, is made in Germany. A repair patch is also provided with each inner tube.
