DOMINION FINANCIAL SERVICES EXPOSED: ENGAGING IN FRAUDULENT PRACTICES AND DEMANDING $1 MILLION WITH INFLATED FEES FOR AN INVALID LOAN
February 21, 2025DOMINION FINANCIAL SERVICES EXPOSED: ENGAGING IN FRAUDULENT PRACTICES AND DEMANDING $1 MILLION WITH INFLATED FEES FOR AN INVALID LOAN
Denver, CO - Dominion Financial Services has been exposed for engaging in fraudulent and predatory lending practices, seeking a staggering $1 million from a debtor for a loan of only $352,000. This demand is inflated by unjustified and inflated fees despite the loan not being properly documented as required by Maryland contract law.
Under Maryland law (Md. Code, Cts. & Jud. Proc. § 5-901), any loan over $500 must be properly documented with a signed agreement. Dominion Financial Services has failed to produce a valid contract, yet they are demanding an inflated sum, which includes excessive and unwarranted fees, causing substantial losses and damages to the creditor.
PREDATORY LENDING AND CORPORATE MANIPULATION
This $1 million demand, which includes inflated fees, is an attempt by Dominion Financial Services to profit from a loan they failed to properly execute. Their actions are a blatant example of predatory lending and corporate manipulation, attempting to exploit the legal system for their own benefit while disregarding basic contract law and ethical standards.
THE COURT'S ROLE IN CORRECTING THIS INJUSTICE
While the court's recent ruling allowed Dominion to pursue this inflated claim, it is clear that there is no valid contract to justify such a demand. The court must act swiftly to correct this injustice, as its decision has allowed fraudulent actions to thrive. The $1 million demand, based on a non-existent contract and inflated fees, must be voided.
CALL FOR ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY
We call on regulators, legal watchdogs, and the public to hold Dominion Financial Services accountable for their unscrupulous actions. Their fraudulent practices must be exposed, and the $1 million demand, fueled by inflated fees, must be rescinded. The legal system must not allow corporate interests to manipulate the law for personal gain.
