Waterborne Epoxy Curing Agent is a type of chemical agent used to cure or harden epoxy resin in an aqueous environment. Its chemical composition is mainly amine compounds, and its molecular structure often contains amino groups (-NH₂) as reactive sites. The mechanism of curing epoxy resin is achieved through chemical reaction. The amine group in the curing agent undergoes a ring-opening addition reaction with the epoxy group in the epoxy resin. This process releases heat and forms a three-dimensional cross-linked network structure, which gives the cured epoxy material hardness, strength and chemical resistance.

Waterborne Epoxy Curing Agent has many significant advantages. First, it is environmentally friendly. Compared with traditional solvent-based curing agents that release a large amount of volatile solvents that harm the environment and human health during the curing process, it uses water as a solvent or carrier, which greatly reduces the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making it more suitable for indoor and environmentally sensitive areas.
