Taking place on May 8th at The Park Club in Costa Mesa, this event combines photography, storytelling, and community connection in a one-of-a-kind experience.
A Tribute to Mothers Everywhere
Motherhood is a journey unlike any other. From birth mothers to foster parents, stepmothers to grandmothers, each story is unique, filled with love, sacrifice, and resilience. Yet, mothers are often behind the camera, capturing memories of their children while rarely being in the frame themselves. Brianna Shrader's Stories of Motherhood project seeks to change that.
Inspired by a successful 40 Over 40 photography series in Canada, Brianna adapted the idea to create a deeply personal tribute to motherhood. "As much as I love my career, nothing has made me prouder than being a mom," she shares. "This event is about celebrating every kind of mother-their sacrifices, their strength, and the love they pour into their families."
An Exclusive Experience for Participants
Mothers who take part in this project will receive a one-hour photography session with Brianna Shrader, capturing authentic and heartfelt moments. Each participant will also have their story featured in an article, a ticket to the exclusive gallery showcase on May 8th, and access to purchase custom artwork to commemorate their experience.
The event will culminate in a gallery exhibit at The Park Club in Costa Mesa, where attendees can view the stunning portraits and read the personal narratives behind them. "This isn't just a photo shoot," says Brianna. "It's a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible stories of motherhood in all its forms."
Selection for Special Recognition
As part of Stories of Motherhood, one participant will be chosen to share their story in a special media feature. Brianna and her team will review all submissions and select a standout story to be highlighted in a television segment, further amplifying the voices of inspiring mothers.
A Growing Movement to Honor Mothers
With enrollment opening in January, Brianna is actively seeking mothers from all walks of life to participate in this moving tribute. Through targeted outreach, community engagement, and a media campaign, she aims to connect with women who want to celebrate their journey in a powerful, lasting way.
"Mothers are the heart of our families and our communities," Brianna says. "This project is about making sure they are seen, valued, and honored for everything they do."
