Oakland, CA based Marqeta, Inc. operates a cloud-based open application programming interface platform that delivers card issuing and transaction processing services. On November 4, 2024, Marqeta, Inc. released weaker-than-expected third quarter 2024 financial results and fourth quarter 2024 guidance. The Company explained its "guidance reflects several changes that became apparent over the last few months with regards to the heightened scrutiny of the banking environment and specific customer program changes."
Shares of Marqeta, Inc. (NASDAQ: MQ) declined from $7.36 per share on February 28, 2024, to as low as $3.37 per share on November 05, 2024.
