Press release from: Source Access, Inc

/ PR Agency: Source Access, Inc
The program is designed to eliminate the need for printing faxes. With the old process, faxes were printed on a continual basis as medical records were received from facilities across the nation. The records were then matched with the correct request, scanned and posted to the correct account for use by the client. Large amounts of paper were being handled on a daily basis.

The new program receives a faxed record, and in place of printing attaches it electronically to the correct request and automatically posts to the correct account. This saves paper, ink and allows clients to access their medical records much faster.

“We are continually looking for ways to improve our time service to our clients, as well as keeping cost to a minimum” said Tom Corley, EVP & CFO of Source Access, Inc. “I expect a significant time savings and a sharp decrease in the amount of paper we use as a result from this program, especially with medical records delivered to our clients who utilize our online services.”
