SCHOOL OF ROCK HUNTINGTON READY TO ROCK N’ ROLL

Huntington, NY (November 17, 2016) – School of Rock, the leader in performance-based music education, announces the opening of its newest school in Huntington, New York, located at 145 East Main Street, Huntington, New York 11743. Opening on November 19, the school will host a party from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring live music from School of Rock students. In addition to the opening party, School of Rock Huntington will also host an official grand opening celebration in early January.

School of Rock provides a unique learning environment for students of every skill level interested in a number of musical instruments including guitar, bass, vocals, keyboard and drums. Drawing on classic rock n’ roll, School of Rock teaches students the legendary ways of artists such as Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. The rock-performance-based approach has advanced children and teens around the world by providing them with confidence and superior instrumental competence, preparing them to take on the big stage. Each member of the Huntington School of Rock staff is actively involved in local bands, which is part of the reason why husband-and-wife team Monica and Gene Rubin chose to open their second School of Rock in Huntington. The new school will be the latest addition to the roster of over 180 schools worldwide and serve the communities of Huntington, Northport, Oyster Bay, Commack, Syosset and Woodbury.
