Text2Codes - Computer Assisted Coding web app is available as free trial

Codixim LLC is proud to announce the availability of Text2Codes, the first web based Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) application.

One enters free text into Text2Codes, using dictation or copy-paste and then Text2codes finds and annotates potential phrases and medical words that have at least one code attached: ICD-10 Diagnosis, ICD-10 Procedure or CPT / HCPCS codes. The user picks the correct code from those Text2Codes suggested, which are filtered to a CMS geographic location. Using the Local Coverage Determination (LCD), Text2Codes will suggest diagnosis supporting procedures (and vice-versa) in specific CMS jurisdictions and will prevent coding incorrect or medically "unnecessary" procedures.

Text2Codes improves the coding accuracy with a state of the art NLP algorithm, while reducing the time to code a free text document and create the medical billing claim. Text2Codes reduces claims rejects and denials with an excellent precision and recall metrics.

The CAC technology exists for many years, to help with the extraction of medical terms from free text for the purpose of coding the medical bills sent to the insurance companies in USA. The price tag of a CAC system was prohibitively high, until now. Text2Codes is the first fully web-based CAC app and as such, it is priced to be consumed.

Text2Codes is web based, thus there's no need to install anything, being available anytime and anywhere. There are no set-up fees and no long term contracts.
