The Holidays in Boston: A Photo Excursion
From 6:00PM to 9:00PM, students will begin the evening at the BCAE, where Phillips will give his expert tips and advice on how to capture life’s most unique moments. Following the brief lesson, students will take to the streets, touring the city to capture the intimate holiday moments that Boston has to offer. The course is geared towards intermediate photographers who have an understanding of digital photography and processing, but all levels of experience are welcome.
Phillips is a Boston based photographer with more than 10 years of experience photographing Boston and the New England area. An avid landscape and long exposure enthusiast, Phillips works with Hunt’s Photo & Video in Melrose, MA, and his work has been featured at multiple galleries, spreading his passion for cityscape and street photography.

MATERIALS: Students should bring their own digital camera. The instructor also suggests a tripod, various lenses, extra memory cards and extra camera battery.
