Chengdu Eastern New District Photography Creation and Third Annual Photography Contest Conclude
To comprehensively document this internationally significant, era-defining horticultural event that integrates global standards, Chinese elements, and Chengdu-specific features, as well as the district's achievements in industrial development, ecological progress, cultural activities, urban-rural integration, and public services, the Chengdu Eastern New District Office of the Chengdu Federation of Trade Unions hosted the photography contest and creative initiative titled "World Horticultural Expo Main Venue: Tianfu Airport Future City."
The contest attracted over 1,000 photo submissions, with more than 600 entries from professionals and over 400 from amateur photographers. Following expert evaluation, the professional category awarded one first prize, three second prizes, five third prizes, 15 excellence awards, and 30 finalist awards. The amateur category recognized one first prize, three second prizes, five third prizes, 15 excellence awards, and 30 finalist awards.
Through the lens of the participants, this competition vividly showcased the beauty of humanity, landscapes, and development in the Chengdu Eastern New District, using photography as a medium to reflect its unique charm and progress.(Zheng Liang, Li Zhenyu)
