Ruffo Caselli's Humanoid Robots Anticipated the Future

New Exhibitions in Russia and Italy Honor the Visionary Father of Cybernetic Existentialism.
The much-anticipated exhibitions featuring humanoid robots, as originally envisioned by Italian artist Ruffo Caselli (1932-2020), are a timely testament to his remarkable foresight from the 1970s-when he first depicted technologies that the world is now actively researching. In Italy, on March 1, a historic art gallery in Genoa will commemorate Caselli with an exhibition featuring his iconic humanoid robots-oil paintings that often include microchips created decades ago, astonishingly foreshadowing the advent of artificial intelligence. Expectations are high among art enthusiasts as they prepare to honor this Italian Master, whose work so strikingly anticipated the future.
