CSC Wins $211 Million Air Force Contract to Provide Aviation Maintenance

Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has won an outsourcing contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide aviation maintenance support services for the 57th Maintenance Group at Nellis Air Force Base,Nevada. CSC estimates the value of the contract, which has a 15-month transition period, an eight-month base period and five one-year options, to be $211 million if all options are exercised.

Under the terms of the contract, CSC will provide personnel to manage and perform maintenance on U.S. Air Force aircraft, and components and equipment in support of the 57th Maintenance Group. CSC will also provide flying and maintenance scheduling, database management and analysis, centralized maintenance control and training for active duty 57th Maintenance Group members.

Teaming with CSC are M1 Support Services, of Fort Worth, Texas; Opportunity Village, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Trailboss Government Services, of Anchorage, Alaska.

Nellis is a member of the United States Air Force's Air Combat Command and home of the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center. With five Wings and more than 150 aircraft, the Warfare Center is responsible for advanced combat training, tactics development and operational testing.
