Heat metal products to 600 ~650 using the thermal oxidation method, and then treat them with hot steam and reducing agents. Another method is to immerse metal products in molten alkali metal salts at approximately 300 for treatment.

When using the alkaline oxidation method, immerse the parts in a prepared solution and heat them to 135 to 155 . The duration of the treatment depends on the carbon content in the parts. After oxidation treatment of metal parts, rinse them with soap water containing 15g/L to 20g/L at 60 to 80 for 2 to 5 minutes. Then rinse them with cold and hot water respectively and blow dry or dry them for 5 to 10 minutes (at a temperature of 80 to 90 ).

The 3 acid oxidation method involves placing the parts in an acidic solution for treatment. Compared with alkaline oxidation method, acidic oxidation method is more economical. The protective film generated on the metal surface after treatment has higher corrosion resistance and mechanical strength than the thin film generated after alkaline oxidation treatment

The chemical oxidation method is mainly suitable for the oxidation treatment of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, magnesium, and their alloys. The processing method is to place the parts in a prepared solution, and after a certain oxidation reaction at a certain temperature for a certain period of time, a protective film is formed, which can then be cleaned and dried.

Anodizing method is another method for the oxidation of non-ferrous metals. It is the process of using metal parts as anodes and electrolytic methods to form oxide films on their surfaces. This type of oxide film can serve as a passivation film between metal and coating film, as well as increase the bonding force between coatings and metals, reduce the penetration of moisture, and thus extend the service life of coatings. It is widely used in the bottom layer of painting.
