Founded in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, when the Johnson Family and volunteers stepped in to help the people of Western North Carolina, Help After Disaster, Inc. has grown into a vital support system for communities facing crisis. This local connection continues to inspire their mission today.

"Every dollar counts, and with this generous matching pledge from The Johnson Family, the community's contributions will go twice as far," said Michael Johnson, Founder. "Together, we can ensure that those affected by disasters receive the nourishment and care they need to recover."

Help After Disaster, Inc. has served thousands of meals in disaster-affected areas, providing essential support during critical times. Funds raised through this campaign will directly aid in mobilizing resources, supporting volunteers, and expanding meal services to reach more communities in need.

How to Contribute

Donations can be made online at https://www.helpafterdisaster.org/donate or by contacting contact@helpafterdisaster.org [mailto:contact@helpafterdisaster.org]. Each contribution made through January 31, 2025 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact of every gift.
