Waiting for the first snow to fall served as the inspiration behind musician and songwriter Anjalts' ethereal new ballad, December Snow , released on Friday, December 13. This marks the second single from her upcoming third album, currently in production. Following last month's release of Wrong Side of the Road , the opening track from her upcoming album, Anjalts shared insights into her creative process for December Snow . " The track began with live recordings of guitars and vocals, layered gradually with synths to maintain an organic and heartfelt feel. It was freezing inthe studio that week," she revealed. "Thinking about that December Snow memory while recording made it feel a little warmer."

The soundscape of the track brilliantly captures the anticipation of the first snowfall, with Anjalts' evocative vocals gliding over the acoustics to deliver a tender melody about fleeting moments between two young lovers.
