Jill Perlstein Named Partner at DW Simpson

DW Simpson Global Actuarial and Analytics Recruitment promoted Jill Perlstein to Partner.
Jill re-joined DW Simpson in 2016 as Senior Director of its Executive and Retained Search Services division (RSS), with a focus on business development and recruitment process improvement. She brings to this role more than 17 years of talent acquisition and management experience within the insurance and financial services industry.
Jill began her recruiting career at DW Simpson in 1998, recruiting actuaries within all (Life, Health, Property/Casualty, and Pension) disciplines. In 2004, Jill moved to Hartford Life Insurance, where she was responsible for entry- through executive-level actuarial recruitment and staffing/HR advisory to the Chief Actuary.
She was then asked to join Travelers Insurance in 2006, first as its sole actuarial recruiter, then ultimately building a team from scratch to support actuarial, analytics, business analytics/business intelligence, CAT modeling, pricing/product management, underwriting and sales.
In 2013, Jill joined Marsh & McLennan Companies – first as the Central/Canada Zone leader, leading a team of up to 27 recruiters that supported Marsh/Mercer/Guy Carpenter, then later being promoted to the Talent Acquisition Leader of Marsh North America.
Jill’s expertise includes talent acquisition, talent management, diversity recruitment and retention, workforce planning, vendor and tool selection, recruitment process outsourcing, performance management, and more.
