Furniture Store Joins Forces with Brazosport Cares to Support Local Families in Need This Holiday Season

In a continued effort to support local families in need, a well-known furniture store is teaming up with Brazosport Cares for the Yule Help Families Community Food Drive. The drive runs from December 6th to 31st, 2024 and is aimed at filling the shelves of the Brazosport Cares Food Pantry to help ensure families in the community have the resources they need to celebrate the holidays.

This is part of a broader commitment to alleviating hunger in Brazoria County. Brazosport Cares, a local nonprofit, continues to make a difference by running multiple food security programs, including the Better Choices Pantry in Freeport, Healthy Options Program for the Elderly (H.O.P.E.), and multiple school food pantries across the county.

Supporting the Community:

The Yule Help Families Food Drive aims to collect non-perishable food items, such as canned goods, pasta, rice, and hygiene items such as diapers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and feminine products. All donations will go directly to support the families and individuals who rely on Brazosport Cares services during the holiday season.
