Peace&War, the limited edition Poster by Armando Milani presented by Hats Art Gallery
Cappelli Identity Design created Hats Art Gallery to promote and spread the Culture of Design worldwide. Producing iconic posters crafted by prestigious national and international artists, Hats Art Gallery with this initiative wants to bring high-quality artistic works to the global public.

The poster features updates from the 2002 edition, including refined lettering and a fresh definition of its color palette. Armando Milani stated: «I am honored to be the first designer for this important collection, born through a masterpiece that holds deep meaning for me: Peace&War, created also for the United Nations for their 60th anniversary. Through the messages spread in my works, I need to transmit ethical, humanitarian, and ecological values instantly, aiming to raise awareness and engage the public with dreamlike images that could capture their attention and emotions. This process, which I've summarized in the sentence From the Eye to the Heart, seeks to push the audience to think and then to act and react for a powerful change».
The first project launched by Hats Art Gallery is the iconic Peace&War poster, designed by Armando Milani in 2002 and donated to the United Nations in 2003 with the claim Translating War into Peace. This year, it has been reproduced in a limited edition of 99 copies. This piece has been selected for its profound ethical and design meaning, and pushes the audience to think deeply about the duality of peace and conflict, a highly topical issue for its universality and relevance. Starting from today, the Peace&War poster is available for purchase, and the project will be showcased during 2025 with events and exhibitions realized in partnership with specialized publishers, bookshops and galleries.
