Dr. Smith, who has served as the district's director of teaching and learning, will transition to her new role effective July 1, 2025. In her new role, Dr. Smith will oversee the district's special services, human resources, and teaching and learning departments. She will lead key initiatives, including the district's accreditation process, the student transfer program, administrative retreats, and aligning strategic goals with community priorities.
