Update of the JInstaller Familiy adds 64-bit support

Windows XP64 / Vista64 and Linux64: these 64-bit environments are now supported by the JInstaller family offering platform independent software distribution solutions. With the current release componio underlines the steady development of the software. The JInstaller roadmap speaks the same language; Solaris 10 for x86 and SPARC will complement the list of supported operating systems in the near future.

Thorsten Liese, Chief Technical Officer: "Our development activities focus on the JInstaller family. The positive customer feedback proves that the JarCryp encryption engine in particular offers an added value which is unique in the market today. We strive to make this technology available to as many software developers as possible by porting it to major operating systems."

Transboundary software is the key, the considerable advantages for Java developers are obvious. The software development and distribution process for various operating systems is simplified and a larger user audience can be served.

Besides 64-bit support, the new release contains enhancements based on suggestions and reports from existing customers.
