From November to December each year, the lake scenery and mountain views complement each other beautifully. On the vast 9-square-kilometer lake surface, the Metasequoia and red cedar forests form a unique "water forest" landscape. Especially during autumn and winter, the lake is often shrouded in advection fog in the early morning, making rowing on the lake feel like being in a fairyland. After the thick fog dissipates, the lake reveals a colorful scene of "thousands of red trees covering the forest, with every layer of trees dyed in red hues."
