SGS Joins Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals Program
(Geneva, October 26, 2016) Today, SGS is pleased to announce it is joining the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Program and in doing so, supports the Program’s vision of widespread implementation of sustainable chemistry and best practices in the textile and footwear industries to protect consumers, workers and the environment.SGS commits to working collaboratively on this task and towards the milestones set in the Program’s Joint Roadmap through active engagement with ZDHC, brands, retailers and stakeholders, and also through the provision of a wide range of services under the SGS Zero Discharge Holistic Solution.
SGS is proud to be joining over 20 leading brands working together to drive industry-wide change in responsible chemicals management, and commits to working on this task in a collaborative and open manner.
