Christian pop artist Spenser Olson is gearing up to release his first-ever multi-track Christmas EP, A Very Special Christmas, on Friday, November 29, 2024. This project combines original songs and reimagined holiday classics, offering a thoughtful blend of familiar traditions and fresh interpretations.
The EP was produced by Studio Sixteen Music Group, with Nicholas Bramucci leading the production process in Birmingham, Alabama. The final touches were handled by Lurssen Mastering in Burbank, California, ensuring a polished sound for listeners during the holiday season. Olson described the project as fast-paced yet deeply rewarding. "Nick approached me with the idea, and within 20 days, we had completed the album, including string arrangements and new songs. I'm excited to share what we've put together," Olson shared.
One standout track on the EP is a new version of Justin Bieber's Mistletoe. Olson recorded the song nearly a decade ago and has revisited it with updated production and a fresh perspective. In addition to this cover, the EP offers a range of songs that reflect the diversity of Christmas music, both in style and emotion. Producer Nicholas Bramucci explained, "Our aim was to respect the legacy of Christmas music while incorporating a variety of influences to create something that feels cohesive."

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Olson began his musical journey at the age of 12, writing and performing at his local church. Over the years, he has developed a unique style that blends pop elements with meaningful lyrics. His earlier releases, such as the 2016 album Your Love for Us, have reached audiences in over 70 countries. More recently, he released the singles All Those Lies in January 2023 and Choose to Stay in May 2024.
